Mental Health First Aid International

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses are a suite of internationally acclaimed and rigorously researched training programmes. Developed by Mental Health First Aid International, a not-for-profit organisation that develops, delivers and evaluates mental health training programmes which can be adapted globally.

Since it’s beginning in Australia in 2000, it has developed into a global movement with the programme being adopted and delivered in 24 countries.

Our team

We’ve amassed decades of experience in the financial services, banking, digital, technology, education and charity industries, giving us a unique and varied insight into the biggest mental health challenges facing individuals in a range of workplaces. We only deliver accredited Mental Health First Aid training, approved by Mental Health First Aid England.

Our training focuses on both adult and youth workplaces, with specialised trainers covering individual areas, and offering distinct programmes. We offer online and in-person training depending on your needs, with significant experience catering to the needs of global and remote organisations.

We believe it’s important for organisations to take control of empowering their workforce with the relevant skills and knowledge to address mental ill health in themselves and others.

We also believe the role of social enterprises that focus on mental health awareness can help bridge the gap in society between the need for mental health education and its provision. Organisations that can do so in a financially independent and sustainable way are crucial.

This is why we reinvest 50% of profits back into society by providing free and funded courses in under-resourced areas of the community in the UK.
